Lino three

This is the third of lino prints and by far my favourite. Its inspired by my ninja like kitten, when she is  creating terror you usually only see ears or a tail. This was by far the hardest to print because I was using my hands as a press. Even though its not printed the way I imagined it would be, I quite like how edgy and rough it looks.

Second Lino

After the first print I sat back and looked through my drawings to see which would make an awesome print and it had to be the cucumber throwing up. There was no doubt about this.

Lino

Over the next three days I will be sharing 3 different lino prints. Ive been wanting to do some more lino printing for ages and I finally knuckled down to get some done. This is the 1st of three designs I have printed. I haven't got a nipping press, so I used my hands and a bottle of nailvarnish remover to press the paper and lino. Heres to diy!!

Thursday Book Day: Four books

These are four books that were from a print making project. Two of these were made from misprints and two were made from the nicest prints. Some of the pages are; lino prints, emobssed lino prints with no ink and collographs.

Little Miss Muffet [1]

This is one of three posts showing three books, there is so many photos I thought it best to separate the posts. They all feature the nursery rhyme Little Miss Muffet. Two of the books are of embossed lino prints. and one is of printed linos.

Lino mayhem

Ive been working on lino at the moment, to make a series of books, prints, posters.

Limited edition

At the moment, Im working on a series of limited edition books using lino prints.

I decided to use the Little Miss Muffet nursery rhyme.

Lino and collograph prints

I didnt ink my collograph up because I prefere the look of embossed paper.

These are some linos I've been working on, they are based on some photos I took of the Eifell tower on a recent trip. Eventually all the prints will be made into a book for my printmaking project.
